StairWedge® Intellectual Property Rights

At StairWedge®, we take the protection of our innovation, brand, and designs very seriously. Our products are protected by issued and pending patents and registered trademarks in the United States.

Our Commitment

StairWedge® was created to improve pet health, safety, and confidence by transforming stairs into a safer ramp experience for small dogs, puppies, seniors, and pets with mobility challenges. Every design element, function, and brand mark has been carefully developed and protected under U.S. intellectual property law.

Intellectual Property Protection

All branding elements, including the StairWedge® name, logo, product design, images, and marketing materials, are the exclusive property of StairWedge®.

  • Unauthorized use—including duplication, reproduction, advertising, marketing, distribution, or sale—is strictly prohibited.
  • Any listings or products attempting to imitate, copy, or misrepresent StairWedge® will be considered infringement.
  • We actively monitor for violations across online platforms and marketplaces.

Utility & Design Patents

StairWedge® patents are both pending and enforceable.

  • Utility and design patents will be retroactively prosecuted based on their original filing dates.
  • This means that once granted, any infringing activity that occurred after the filing date will be subject to enforcement.
  • Infringers may be liable for damages, lost profits, and other remedies as allowed under U.S. law.

Enforcement

StairWedge® enforces its rights vigorously. Any infringement will result in:

  • Immediate removal requests through online marketplace enforcement programs.
  • Cease and desist notices sent to infringers.
  • Legal proceedings and claims for damages, pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Notice to Sellers

Only authorized sellers with written permission may offer genuine StairWedge® products. Any unauthorized listings or attempts to represent non-authentic items as StairWedge® will be removed.

Protecting Our Customers

By protecting our intellectual property, we ensure that every StairWedge® product purchased is authentic, safe, and manufactured to our high standards. This allows us to continue innovating while keeping pets safe, confident, and happy.

👉 Duplication, misrepresentation, or infringement of StairWedge® intellectual property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, including retroactive enforcement of utility and design patents from their original filing dates.
